African-American participation in elite AP classes lags at St. Louis area schools

I am so very proud of my daughters Naomi Blair and Sarah Blair for being featured in the Saint Louis Post Dispatch this weekend for taking the initiative to encourage their black peers to challenge themselves and take Honors and Advanced Placement classes. They are proof that 1 person can make a difference even when the system in place does not foster academic excellence for all children.
